To train the next generation of healthcare problem-solvers by combining clinical understanding, financial reasoning, and technological literacy — through chapters, curriculum, and competition.
Who we are
Founded by two high school students in Charlotte, North Carolina, MediLink exists because no existing club forces students to think across medicine, finance, and technology at the same time. HOSA teaches clinical skill. DECA and FBLA teach business. Neither asks a student to solve one real problem using all three — MediLink does.

MediLink is a national, student-founded nonprofit network of high school chapters that teaches students to understand healthcare the way real health systems actually work — as a clinical problem, a financial problem, and a technology problem, all at once.

Our Vision
A nationwide student network where every chapter graduate can walk into a hospital, an insurance company, or a health-tech startup and already understand how those three worlds connect.
The framework
Every MediLink activity — curriculum module, competition case, chapter project — runs through three lenses. Curriculum and case materials call this method Care, Cost, Code. The public site names the lenses in plain language.

- What’s the actual health problem, and who’s affected?

- Who pays for it, what does it cost, and is a solution sustainable?
- Technology
- How could data, software, or infrastructure change access or delivery?

What we aim to achieve
- Train high school students to apply the three-lens framework to real health-system problems.
- Grow a nationwide chapter network with a shared officer structure, curriculum, and starter kit.
- Run four annual competitions plus a biennial Apex, with Nationals as the yearly flagship.
- Connect members with clinical, finance, and health-tech partners for shadowing, internships, and research.
- Give students titles, projects, and competition experience that transfer to college and career.
- Give back to the community through chapter service and outreach.
